Being known as "Design Street", Via Tortona is one of the most famous streets of Milan when it comes to Design, Fashion and Arts events. Always crowded and definitely a "must-go" during the "Salone del Mobile", Via Tortona displays itself as a nice, charachteristic street where anyone interested in Design expositions of every kind and socialising events can easily have fun and spend some valuable time. But FuoriSalone isn't the only attraction Tortona has to offer, in fact the Private Sale hosted this weekend in Tortona32 seemed to be something to treasure. After doing further research and after phisically shopping there, I must admit it was indeed a great event for which we must thank PrivateSaleMilano & WhiteRoomFactory (Further information can be found at www.privatesalemilano.com or www.whiteroomfactory.com or on their Twitter/Facebook account @privatesalemi). As a private sample sale the location was occupied by a temporary shop, offering people registered on their website and therefore invited designer clothes (mostly young outcoming designers, but big labels also) at low and affordable prices. This particular sale usually takes place in Tortona once year (But rumour has it they're organising a second one this year in October) generally during the weekend, from Friday to Sunday. In a nutshell my advice is : go, storm the shop and enjoy everything this particular "Fashion Corner" has in store for you. See you there next year (or in October hopefully!).
